Episode 16 - JR De Guzman

On episode 14 of The Liquor Lamp, Joe-Joe talks to good friend and comedy buddy Jon Gomora, and they discuss comedy, name-dropping, his family, catchphrases, and whether or not they are going to hang out later. Also, Joe-Joe blathers on about how he learned a few of the rules he needs to follow to suck less. If you want the cat come round you better work, just like this episode does.

Episode 13 - Robert Berry

On this episode of the Liquor Lamp Podcast, Joe-Joe sits down and chats with Mr. Retrocrush himself, Robert Berry, where the two discuss what got him into comedy, some of his weirdest experiences as a host, how is voice doesn’t match what he looks like, and the impact of Robin Williams’ passing. Also, during the show Joe-Joe whines about being tired and not getting an invite to ello, and his voice sounds one octave too high for some reason. This works in the worst sense of the word.

Episode 12 - Cheryl "The Soccer Mom"

On episode 12 of The Liquor Lamp Podcast with Joe-Joe Louis, in spite of his terrible interviewing abilities, Joe-Joe manages to have a wonderful conversation with the hilarious and interesting Cheryl “The Soccer Mom," wherein they talk about her favorite comedy experiences, how cold Minnesota is, and the healing power of comedy and laughter in the face of loss. Also, Joe-Joe relates his experience at the Sacramento Comedy Festival round four preliminary, and how he held a room of sixty people hostage with one of his favorite jokes. This works in the best way possible.

Episode 11 - Ben Rice

In episode 11 of The Liquor Lamp Podcast with Joe-Joe Louis, Joe-Joe sits down with funny-man Ben Rice where they discuss his familial relationships, how many times he's been robbed, and the unique zen outlook that he's developed in his years delivering terrible news. Also, Joe-Joe's Nevada City adventure concludes where he says what actually happened when he went to the show (he said the exact same thing as last time). To quote Marc Maron: "This better ******* work."
